About "The Spa Lady"

The Total Spa Escape is a heartfelt passion for Spa Director Christine Engelbrecht, who has made a life’s work of ensuring customers are as cared for and as relaxed as possible.

Christine took on the Total Spa Escape just 5-1/2 years ago, but her background in customer care goes back much further. She spent over 20 years in the customer care business as hotel general manager of various chains. In her role, she was responsible for ensuring that all guests’ needs were met and that their experience at her hotels exceeded their expectations.

Consistently maintaining such a high-stress position with grace enables her to understand and support others who are experiencing such distress today – and the lessons she learned along the way make her a wonderful resource for tips on relaxation, as well. It’s only natural that she has since thrived in her new career of helping women and men de-stress and relax in the comfort of their own homes and offices with the Total Spa Escape.

When she’s not helping her customers and team members enjoy spas at home or at work, Christine loves to travel and spend time with her husband Bob. They visit their two daughters and two fabulous grandchildren at every opportunity.
